Industry Advisory Board
The School of Earth Sciences values the contribution of industry leaders in the development of the teaching curriculum and in strengthening collaborative links in research.
The establishment of an Industry Advisory Board in 2009, with its inaugural meeting coinciding with the School Open House in December, is an important step in creating a strong future for geosciences in Australia. The Board membership includes key members of the minterals, energy, environmental, and geotechnical industries in Australia. The Board meets two times a year to advise the Head of School on the relevance of teaching and research programs, industry-academy linkage opportunities, and other matters relevant to the future growth and success of the School.
